Alelo is pleased to announce several recent appointments to the executive management team.

Dr. Paula Hidalgo joined Alelo this March as Vice President of Product Strategy and Marketing. In her new role, Dr. Hidalgo is spearheading the company's efforts to develop learning solutions for new markets as Alelo expands its capabilities and content. Dr. Hidalgo brings strengths in a number of key areas to her new job. After earning her Ph.D. Applied Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and English Philology from the University of Barcelona, Dr. Hidalgo worked at the UCLA Center for the Study of Evaluation, and later served as VP of Design and Development at Pearson Education and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. She is not only an avid learner of cultures and languages, but has taught five different languages across Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Dr. Richard Diephuis also joined Alelo this March, coming on board as our Vice President of Engineering. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Dr. Diephuis has led engineering teams at a number of high technology firms and has extensive experience managing complex engineering and research activities and transitioning new technologies into successful products. Alelo is delighted to welcome Dr. Diephuis to our operations and executive management team and looks forward to his many contributions.
