Content Developer

We are looking for more Content Developers to expand our cultural and language training development efforts. Our CDs are involved in curriculum development, lesson creation, game design, interactive dialog authoring, and more, all for creating world-class language and culture training. Content Developers are also responsible for implementing the content using our proprietary software.

Education and experience desired:

• B.A. in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or related degrees
• 2+ years with:
  - Designing curricula for foreign language and culture courses.
  - Building syntactic models of languages: lexicons, dictionaries, morphological models, etc.
  - Phonetic, and different phonetic labeling schemes (preferably had some courses on phonetics).
  - Teaching foreign languages

Skills desired:

• Excellent writing skills
• In-depth knowledge of at least one foreign language, and familiarity with multiple languages.
• Passion for language and language learning; good ears.
• Comfortable working with computers, quickly able to learn to use new programs.
• Interest in games, particularly 3-D, role-playing, virtual-worlds games. 

Other skills desired and requirements:

• Detail oriented, consistent, patient.
• Proven track record developing high-quality entertainment or educational software.
• Great drive and ability to learn new technologies.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, deliver results.
• Good communication skills.
• US citizenship highly preferred; Green Card is OK. Absolutely no H1Bs or visa sponsorships.
