Alelo launches its FlashFunders campaign

Over the past year Alelo has made remarkable progress developing new products and markets.

In late 2016 we launched Enskill, our next-generation cloud-based platform that provides learning experiences using our virtual-role-playing method. It engages learners in spoken conversations and life-like scenarios with artificially intelligent characters.

Earlier this year we conducted successful trials with students learning English with an Enskill course in Latin America and Southeast Asia. The students were enrolled in Laureate Education‘s global network of higher-ed campuses. We have since signed up twenty-five Laureate institutions to use Enskill this fall, with the potential of ultimately reaching hundreds of thousands of students.

The trials also created interest among other higher-ed and publishing organizations around the world, including a major international publisher that is currently conducting trials of Latin America of a new product incorporating Enskill. The response has been very positive, and the publisher is planning for a combined product release in January 2018.

To fund this beautiful market opportunity we have started a fundraising campaign targeting accredited investors. We are using the SEC-approved FlashFunders portal. FlashFunders enables us to sign up investors directly, without intermediaries such as investment bankers and venture fund managers.
